What is happiness?

Happiness is the feeling of joy to most of us. It is that strong feeling of satisfaction and enjoyment. It is when we feel better about ourselves and our lives. Feeling happy when someone we love and care about is around. Happiness has so many meanings that cannot be found in books nor dictionaries. With philosophers and psychologists.

The meaning of happiness is not all that complicated. It is a feeling we experience, and can also be shared with others around us. Joy has no expiry date nor an end. It can be lower down, but it can never disappear. It would always be there, in that little corner waiting for you to find it.

As many people have said before, love has different shapes and colors, so is happiness. It can develop by the smallest silliest thing you could ever think of, and the biggest surprising thing you could think of.

The little things that makes us happy are the greatest shape of happiness (in my opinion). I feel that if the least thing that can make me happy, then I don't have to worry about what is bigger than that.

For example, my friends and family find it hard to bring me the best gift for my birthday. I think they are thinking too much that they miss out the point behind this gift. For me, as long as it comes from their hearts, nothing really matters to me. Whether it was a simple necklace or a scarf.

I wouldn't be as much as happy if I got a new smartphone or a ridiculously expensive piece of jewellery. Though I wouldn't mind a ticket to travel somewhere (hahaha! Oh my).

All that I'm saying in this blog is that happiness isn't hard to feel. All of us experience and get through crazy and hard times in our lives, but that's okay. 'Cause things will always get better no matter how much time passes.

Let me share with you my secret key to happiness. The one thing I do to flip my mood 180 degrees when I'm super depressed. All that I do is smile really really really hard, and believe that I can be happy this instant. Guess what? It works with me every single time.

Always keep in mind that life is short, and that there is nothing worth to be sad about. At least that's what I'm trying to do.

I hope you all feel happy everyday wherever you are and keep on smiling!

PS: I just sounded like KimmiSmiles from YouTube! haha :-)
